The Bibby Financial Services portfolio of products includes asset-based lending (ABL), invoice factoring, transportation finance and more. Bibby Financial Services has offices in five cities and works with clients nationwide. We are active members of the Commercial Finance Association, the International Factoring Association, and the American Finance Association, among others.  

As a wholly owned subsidiary of the privately-held Bibby Line Group, we are anchored by financial strength and stability that dates back to 1807. Our global presence makes us a unique funding partner as we are able to structure deals that cross country borders.

OUR HERITAGE

In 1807, while Napoleon was wreaking havoc throughout Europe, John Bibby began trading as a ship owner in Liverpool, England. Throughout the 1800s, the Bibby family continued to grow its fleet of shipping vessels. During both WWI and WWII, many Bibby vessels were requisitioned and carried hundreds of thousands of British and American soldiers.

In 1981, Bibby Financial Services was established to provide customized lending solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. Since our inception, Bibby Financial Services has helped thousands of clients grow their businesses. In North America, the company provides more than $1 billion in funding each year.

Bibby Financial Services’ global group has offices in Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia and the United Kingdom. We are proud to be supported and fully owned by our parent the Bibby Line Group, a dynamic family-run business-to-business services company with a 200-year heritage.

GIVING SOMETHING BACK

We are proud to participate in the Giving Something Back (GSB) program. Launched in 2007 by our parent company Bibby Line Group (BLG) as part of its Bicentenary year celebrations, the GSB program has made charitable giving part of our DNA.  Globally, the program has raised more than $11.5 million as of January 2017 for over 1,000 charitable causes since its inception. In 2015, employees of Bibby Financial Services North America contributed more than $55,000, including dollars matched, to this total.

Giving Something Back is a unique initiative that reinforces our values and aims to harness the passion of our people, supporting them as they fund-raise or volunteer for charities close to their hearts. Bibby Financial Services employees are encouraged to participate in local charity fundraising events, such as 5k walks and races. Other local efforts include in-office fundraising events like bake sales and pay-per-plate luncheons.

Bibby Line Group matches funds raised dollar for dollar when an employee engages in a qualifying event or activity benefiting a registered and approved charitable organization. This means that an employee who raises $100, for example, can contribute as much as $200 to his or her chosen charity.

Giving Something Back goes beyond fundraising as our employees volunteer their personal time to make things better for others. In 2015, BFS North America employees volunteered nearly 2,000 hours for causes in their local communities through activities like sorting donations at food banks, building bikes for inner city children and distributing food and water to those in need.

The causes supported by employees of BFS North America in recent years have included, but are not limited to: The Alzheimer’s Association, The ALS Association, AIDS Walk Atlanta, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity plus many local food banks, churches and other organizations. We believe in supporting the causes closest to our employees and their families because what is important to them as individuals is important to us as a business.
