Kim Withrow to Lead Panel Discussion at CFA’s Inaugural Idea Exchange

Prior to the kickoff of the Commercial Finance Association’s (CFA) 74th Annual Convention, the association will host a new, member- and invitation-only working session where BFS Executive Vice President, Kim Withrow, will be leading one of the panel discussions.

This new event is called Idea Exchange and is designed to encourage highly-targeted and relevant conversations between leading experts and professionals within 5 main tracks: Credit & Portfolio Management, Executive Sales & Marketing, Legal, Operations & Technology, and Executives.

Kim will be the leader of the Legal track, discussing topics like the structuring and management of risks within in-transit financing, deal structures and inter-creditor issues between lenders and the private debt market, and bankruptcy and workout trends and issues.

Kim has ensured adherence to legal strategy throughout her 2 years with BFS by helping improve operational procedures and mitigating risk and compliance issues. She has 30 years of commercial lending expertise in structuring, documenting and negotiating asset-based lending, factoring and other commercial lending transactions. Her proficiency in developing and implementing protocols for managing identified risks, compliance and litigation matters are experiences that allow her to speak skillfully on the chosen topics for the Idea Exchange legal track.

The Idea Exchange will take place on November 6 at Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, right before the CFA Annual Convention from November 7-9. In addition to the event’s 5 tracks, this event will host a general session on trade wars with keynote speakers Robert Wescott, Ph.D., and Elizabeth Rust, as well as a yacht reception with CFA's Board of Directors.
