Bibby Financial Services appoints Kelly Hamill as Head of Sales
Proven deal maker to head-up sales efforts in East Midlands and East Anglia
The UK’s largest independent invoice finance provider, Bibby Financial Services (BFS), has appointed Kelly Hamill as Head of Sales as part of its strategy to increase funding support to businesses in the East Midlands and East Anglia regions.
Kelly – who took up his new role at the start of May – has extensive knowledge of the business funding environment, having spent 14 years working in invoice finance and asset based lending.
Commenting on his new role, Kelly said: “These regions have a range of innovative, growing enterprises and there is a real opportunity for us to support the local economies by boosting our funding support to these businesses.”
Originally joining BFS in 1999, Kelly has spent the last seven years at Close Brothers Invoice Finance where he was Regional Sales Director. “I’m delighted to be back at Bibby Financial Services at a time when we are investing and growing”, Kelly said.
Kelly will head-up a team of five business development managers and three business development executives, responsible for increasing the funder’s presence in the regions.
In addition to Kelly, the lender recently announced the appointments of Paul Coase and Simon Boddy as Business Development Managers for East Anglia and Lincolnshire.
Kelly is based from the lender’s Leicester office, reporting into David Webb who has taken up his new role of Regional Sales Director for the central region.
David said: “We’re currently providing upwards of £100million to businesses across the Midlands and East Anglia; helping them to grow by supporting recruitment and investment plans.
“We are now looking to increase our funding support and these regions are crucial areas for us. When small and medium sized business owners, managers, accountants or business advisors feel they need financial support or advice, we want to be the provider of choice, whatever the circumstances.”
David added: “Kelly’s hard-working approach, commitment and knowledge of the business funding environment will be invaluable to our efforts and we’re delighted to have him on board.”
